The Stem Cell Biology series contains 5 books published by Morgan & Claypool between 2012-2013. Your annual subscription gives you access to each and every book through the MyBookshelf application.
SERIES EDITORS
: Wenbin Deng, University of California, Davis
This Series is interested in covering the fundamental mechanisms of stem cell pluripotency and differentiation, and strategies for translating fundamental developmental insights into the discovery of new therapies. The emphasis is on the roles and potential advantages of stem cells in developing, sustaining and restoring tissue after injury or disease. Some of the topics covered include: the signaling mechanisms of development and disease; the fundamentals of stem cell growth and differentiation; the utilities of adult (somatic) stem cells, induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells and human embryonic stem (ES) cells for disease modeling and drug discovery; and finally, the prospects for applying the unique aspects of stem cells for regenerative medicine. We hope this Series will provide the most accessible and current discussions of the key points and concepts in the field, and that students and researchers all over the world will find these in-depth reviews to be useful.
ANY NEW BOOK PUBLISHED DURING YOUR ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION TERM IS AUTOMATICALLY INCLUDED AT NO EXTRA COST.
